About Wilford
Located within the heart of Nottingham City, just south of the River Trent, Wilford has a thriving community.
In recent years Wilford benefited from the Nottingham tram extension, Clifton South line, and is connected to the train station and city centre within minutes. Wilford Village, Wilford Lane, Compton Acres and Ruddington Lane are the four tram stops serving the Wilford community.

Schools
Wilford has two popular primary schools: St Patrick's and South Wilford School.
There are also four local secondary schools with The Nottingham Emmanuel and The Becket School both within Wilford, and The West Bridgford School and The Farnborough Academy taking in pupils from Wilford too.

The Ferry Inn, The Tailors Arms, Harvester and Wilford Social Club are wonderful local establishments for food and drink.
The Co-Op on Pinfold Lane is the nearest general convenience store and serves a wide range of fresh, chilled and frozen produce, as well as other general goods.
